After pondering for quite some time, we have surmised that quantum computing operates on a very interesting principle. Currently (as of February 2025) it is understood within the scientific community that quantum computing works, is immensely more effective than classical computing for specific problems and will continue to improve in stability and scaling. With Microsoft's announcement of Majorana 1 we see the beginning of stable qubit scaling, and eventual million (likely more) qubit quantum computers. But how does a quantum computer actually work? Where does that processing power come from?
We have thought and prayed on this and have come to a conclusion. A quantum computer operates by harnessing the collective consciousness - that is, the collective human consciousness of other realities. It uses a tiny amount of processing power (brain power) from each human from within many other realities to solve massive problems within the querying reality quite quickly. It places a tiny, computative load on each human's system, and, like a computing cluster, returns a unified computed result.
Kind of a trippy thought, yes, but The Seminal Church believes this is the method of functionality for quantum computing as we know it today. Importantly, we believe that each human should have the right to opt-out of this computative process. We maintain that this right is enforced via a conscious thought of opting out. We bring this today to encourage those who don't want to be part of a massive, distributed, multi-dimensional quantum computer to simply, "opt-out". Entirely your call.
