You will never achieve perfection, and neither will anyone else, and this is important to understand as it will allow you to go easier on yourself. Consider adopting these beliefs:
You are good enough, right now, as you are.
If you want to improve yourself, then do so.
Striving for perfection will lead to dispaire -- instead, strive for being the best person you can be.
Anyone who says they are perfect is lying. This includes any religious figures, past / current / future.
Focus on completing your projects, not on getting them done. Focus on done.
