Seminal Church viewpoint on MMTLP:
The Congress of the USA has failed investors in US stock markets. They have failed to oversee the SEC, who is charged with overseeing FINRA, who is charged with ensuring a free and fair stock market. In the instance of MMTLP, theft occurred. Shares were allowed to be naked shorted, and many people suffered greatly because those that were naked shorted were not required to cover.
The message is clear: in the USA, fraud rules. A sad state of affairs for a great country America runs on capitalism, for sure, but more than that, its laws are becoming more and more meaningless. Without a full turn of the ship and the enforcement of free and fair markets, the American Empire will recede.
